Case Study: Zimbabwe Artists Project - ZAP
50Films Program: #21

Audience: Web-based, with philanthropic and art interests, especially African art from Zimbabwe.

Goal: The goal of this program is to increase visibility of the Zimbabwe Artists Project or ZAP, which is a small (3 person staff) non-profit. Their history is moving, and speaks to my heart. I offered to produce a short program to help promote their efforts of finding markets for this artwork, as well as providing a quick overview of how ZAP started, who they serve, and their mission.

Procedure: This program was shot documentary style in HD in a couple hours. ZAP generously supplied images which we were able to integrate to support the storytelling. The program was delivered on the web, and will also be developed to DVD where the program can be played for presentations, or played on a loop for show installations and other occasions.

Case Study: Zimbabwe Artists Project - ZAP - The Art and Artists
50Films Program: #22

Audience: Web-based, with philanthropic and art interests, especially African art from Zimbabwe.

Goal: The goal of this program is to increase the understanding of who the ZAP artists are, and showcase their art, and introduce ways for the audience to purchase the art.

Procedure: This program was leveraged from footage shot for the ZAP overview program. I asked a few questions regarding the art and artists with the intention of producing this program. This is an example of how to streamline production to make it as cost-effective as possible, and to get the most ROI.
