A custom volleyball recruiting video - edited from your footage

Cost $325

Target length: 3-4 minutes.

Process Description:

I request 20-30 individual video clips, or 3-4 full matches and a list of where the plays you’d like to include are located *. This is generally the equivalent of 6-12 minutes of footage. For example, an itemized play list might look like this:

* I do also offer an additional service of me logging your footage and pulling clips to use in the recruiting video. If you have 3-4 matches as is suggested, this generally takes me 1.5 - 2.5 hours, and incurs an additional $35/hr charge of my time.

When we start on your recruiting video,

I will send you a questionnaire, a link my WeTransfer account for easily sending me footage, and information about options available to you on Youtube - if you’d like to host the video there.

If your game footage is on Youtube, simply send me the links and I can download the video files here on my end. I also request a headshot or action photo of your player which is used in the video.

Once I have all of your resources, I will edit your video, making it concise and showcasing your player’s skills, based on your preferences. I will go through the footage looking for a good variety of position play, and cut down what is repetitive, with college coaches in mind. I will highlight your player’s position on the court as needed to guide the viewers attention to them.

Once this video edit is complete, I will send you a review copy to request any changes, and then an updated copy for your approval.

This process generally takes about a week once we start.

I have had the honor of watching our daughter play through club, high school and college and am a big fan of the game. This is a niche of my video production business, and one of my favorites.

We have also been through the recruiting process multiple times. I firmly believe there is a place for everyone to play at the next level, and feel being proactive in one’s approach helps move the process forward.

Checklist items for video:

  • Video from 3-4 matches - highlights logged with time marks, or 20-30 video clips.

  • Completed questionnaire

  • Headshot or action shot - vertical orientation.

  • Decision regarding Youtube settings - “public” vs. “unlisted” - I will send you. information about this.
